The Mission

TWAlive was started in May of 2001 to make sure that one the most legendary and important names in aviation wouldn't ever be forgotten. After 76 years of leadership and dedication Trans World Airlines has entitled itself to an eternity of respect and remembrance. The people of TWA faced tough times, apathetic management, terrorism, downsizing, accidents, and financial troubles but never failed to be the best in the world and making sure that TWA would see another day. 

By providing extensive TWA information and multimedia, as well as serving as a central meeting point on the web for former TWA employees as well as passengers, TWAlive hopes to keep the TWA spirit and memory alive.
